It looks a lot like my old Marlin 32. Shoots shorts or longs, rim or center fire by changing the firing pin.

Of course no one makes Colt .32 longs any more and I'd have to have the chamber bored out to use .32 S&W.

Looks like my Marlin 94 in .44 - 40 as Jayste guessed. I do not think the action was long enough for any thing but pistol type rounds so maybe .25-20, .32-20 etc
