As for the parking break, I have a different tractor but forget to take it off every time I get on it. Luckily I have a brake that really holds and I realize as soon as I try to move, but none the less, I do it every time.:laughing: The funny part is that I never forget to set it. I can pull up, jump off for something, and jump back on within 30 seconds and I will guarantee that the brake will be set and I will try to pull out without releasing it.:confused2: EVERY TIME!

Driving off with the brake set pretty much every now and then on every tractor we have except the Case IH 5140 Maxxum, it won't move unless the brake handle is completely down, won't budge and it starts screaming this awful beeper at you.

OK, so now that I too have done it more than a couple of times, how hard is it to adjust / replace the brakes on a BX24?

only an idiot would take off with the parking brake set. That said, did you know that you cannot set the cruise control when the parking brake is set? Now. Ask me how I know this (lol)
