My wife is a quick country girl, raised at the end of a eastern Kentucky HOLLER on a 106 acre farm. Her daddy believes in big blocks and old time ways.... I can seem to attach my wife to my top link ..... she gets away every time!

I had to bring the kids as I didn't have a sitter. Years back, my meal would have cost that by itself. I had a 32oz tail one time we were there. The individual dinners were $23 (mine), $26 (son's), $30 (daughter's), and $36 ( my wife's). Add in sodas, strawberry lemonaids, desert, and tip...$150. The funny part was that I had the cheapest dinner.:laughing:

Our usual night out anymore is Dennys. $30 for the whole family. We try to do that every week or two.

OK, $150 for 4 on a special occasion is more palatable.

For me, fine dining is a waste, so pub-grub works for me.

I'll start my post with a quote I read the other day on a men's rights site called The Spearhead.
The blog "FemmeBots in Sweden" was authored by Jay Hammers (just to give him credit)

Unlike most of what I read on The Spearhead, that gave me occasion to chuckle.

Many of the men who post there have been damaged by women, and Dr Rob, with his WhiteKnight attitude, wouldn't stand a chance among those guys.

Frankly, I'd like to be a fly on the wall if Rob went on a women's interest site and lectured them the same way he did on this thread.
They'd serve him up his manly bits on a stick.

That said, I see no harm in a guy venting a little bit among other men. When the other guys say "yeah, me too", it's an assurance that niether he nor his wife is being that odd-and it's okay.
That's all good.

I worked in law enforcement/corrections/criminal justice for over thirty years and saw this all the time; never figured it out.

Of course my wife was young rich and beautiful, OK, young and beautiful, so I don't know what that says about me.
