You asked for it! It was really too beautiful for photos because my photos just do not do it justice. I have about 500 but will post 4 right now.

Photo 1 is a Banyan tree that is popular there.
Photo 2 is the magnificent Na Pali Coast on Kauai. There is a fair sized boat in the bottom right of the photo for perspective.
Photo 3 The fine light line on the right side of the mountain is a staircase leading up. I did not walk it but many people do.
Photo 4 is a car tunnel on Oahu.

Don't sell your photography skills short.They are all nice pics, but to me pic #2 is definitely suitable for enlargement and framing.
Did you spend any time on the Big Island? That's the only one I've been to.

Although I think Maui and Kauai are the two most beautiful islands, all the others have some great places to visit and sights to see. Hawaii is a land of great contrast in a small spot. One place may be a rain forest and get 400 inches of rain a year while only 50 miles away will be desert with only 40 inches of rain a year.

These are 2 photos on the big island of Hawaii. The first photo shows the barren lava landscape going up a mountain road. The second photo shows the respect the Hawaiians have for their land. They do not vandalize it by painting graffiti on the rocks and cliffs around the island. Instead, they create their names in the huge black lava fields by using many small white rocks for contrast.
