we do not supply farm stores any longer, we used to supply to someone that sold the hoses to the farm stores, we are wondering does the actual end user stock pre made hoses and if so what style and sizes

Going out on a limb here but I'd bet the "actual end user" mostly stocks the ones he thinks he might need for his equipment:confused2:

The vast majority of my customers do not stock any spare hoses. Too many lengths and fitting styles, and too few failures to make any investment in hose inventory a paying proposition.

Exactly why hydraulic shops, dealerships, and auto parts stores that make up custom hoses will always have a niche in the marketplace.

An end user stocking pre-made hoses? Like stated, anyone in the industry knows if they stock anything pre-made, it will be application specific. Ask 20 different end users and you get at least 19 different answers.

From the sounds of it, 3 weeks ago he was selling chinese cell phone accessories on eBay.
Dont worry, he's bought the right to have threads & posts deleted so his secret is "safe"....

Whenever i get a hose made-up, I always buy at least two. Label it and hang it on the wall. Eventually I'm bound to have a spare for everything.

Seems to me that the basics on hydraulic hose sizes is simple enough, so i assume he means do people plan ahead and keep some on the shelf?
