Someone suggested a thread be started on flags and flag poles.

Here's mine. It's about 43 feet and I usually fly an 8x12 flag on it, but due to budget constraints I had to go with a 5x8 this year.:(

Don't be shy. Let's see your national pride. And I don't mean just us Americans.

Yep, it's lit. Two hubble 50 watt high pressure sodium floods. They light it up pretty deciently. The floods for the flag come on with the other street lights. I tried to do the bit for raising and lowering it when I first put it up, but it didn't take long to decide to light it since I live about 10 minutes away from the property. I also didn't like having to raise it before dawn in the winter since I have to be at work before the sun comes up in December.
