She's a pure Betteroff, as in she's a whole lot betteroff with you than she was before.

I'm thinking that somebody paid to have her tail bobbed and she may have gone walkabout away from home. However, if she doesn't have a collar, it's hard to say. Maybe somebody couldn't keep her and just dumped her. I'm guessing that she has not been spayed, but she doesn't look like she's ever nursed a litter.

Does he have webbed paws? I know GSP's do, but I am unsure if that trait is recessive.

All GSP's and Weimaraners have their tails docked when they are a pup. The short tail to me seems very odd. If you look at weims from europe were they do not dock tails as much, they are vey long.

Yes she does have webbed paws! The vet thought she was about 8 months old when we took her in for her shots. She had no collar or microchip.

dna testing is quite common in dogs and birds(i delve in both) the clubs dna test for regestration purposes and bird breeders dna test to se x the chicks. certain breeds have different markers.
