What other saftey steps? so am i able to do this without jimmy rigging stuff.... i dont like to jimmy rig things ever.

You don't have to "jimmy rig" anything. There is a specific procedure described in the operator's manual for the 3720.
The only Deeres that don't have factory off seat operation are the 3032e and the 3038e.
May be others, but those are the only two I know of.

It is easy to use the rear pto when out of the cab on my 3520. As mentioned, put it in N, apply parking brake, and pull up on the pto knob while OFF the seat. As mentioned before, the mid mount pto can't be used while the operator is off the seat. By the way, the AC is great in this record heat we have been having and I would think that for baling hay the cab would be really nice.

its from japan, and i didnt need anything bigger for my small hobbyfarm, and we are going to only have 1 horse, 1 guard llama, and a few sheep (my wife wants to spin her own yarn) if im lucky we get a dairy goat as well, so i dont need great huge bales of hay and where im at its hard to find reliable good hay to be delivered. so im gonna do it myself, and frankly i want the smallest cab tractor i can to do the job, i dont wish to take up my whole farm with large buildings for everything if i dont have too.

I did not know they made round balers that small. Pretty neat for small operations

I think the Kubota B3030 is about the smallest factory cab tractor and I don't see it having a problem with that baler. It's a very nice setup for snow and mowing. Or, I think Bobcat has a similar sized factory cab unit too. Of course the JD3520 is also pretty sweet.

Fro wherever ive looked the small square balers that make the under 60lb bales all cost nearly double the price, $15,500 for small square baler that needs under 30hp pto, The mini round baler in the size i want is lil over $8grand brand new and is pulled directly behind me instead off to the side.

ill be honest if there are any decent small square balers for nearly the same price or better than the Star mini baler im all up for it and id appreciate a linky to it

Offset square balers not a big issue. You are right on new prices.

Resale and parts on that mini round baler might be an issue.
