Price gouging on parts sales..:confused2: Come on. These tractors are made in India. Not exactly the mecca for high end stuff.

Seems you are continentally confused, if I can coin the term. Your JD 5203 is made in India, and a fine tractor I am sure. The tractor he is referring to is made in Japan, and the loader is made in USA.

We buy JD parts all the time since we have a full service shop. Parts are not given away often in the JD parts department either.

As far as mecca, that is an interesting choice of words. You might go look at a Mahindra 5035 made in India, you will honestly be impressed.

A guy has to be fairly satisfied with his Mahindra if his biggest concern is an expensive shoulder bolt, that costs about two trips to Starbucks. Minor deal, but a valid complaint nonetheless.

Satisfied with Mahindra or not, you guys jumped on this fella who purchased a Deere and told him he purchased the cheapest tractor out there. I found that funny coming from mahindra guys. Mahindra makes some amazingly cheap and unsafe tractors for other markets....

I took it as he purchased the cheapest JD in their line up. Which lets face it, it is! Does that mean its bad..? Nope, just basic. Are there better tractors out there...yep, sure are.
I think that blue,orange,red and white tractors are in many ways better than the green ones, and I think just looking at this forum thousands of others do too. That is why we have choices...so ease up and just enjoy what you have.

Brandi, Mahindra makes a little $3800 2wd diesel tractor for the Indian market to try to help some of the impoverished farmers get ahead a little. As with most 15 HP tractors, it has no rollbar, hence his safety statement. It's sort of an ugly little tractor, but style is not the reason they made it. He probably hasn't seen a 6520 like yours, or the new 35 series, etc.

Well dang it then. Guess I had an unsafe Ford 3055 with no rollbar. It was made in England and exported to france. Somehow it made it back to the states and to me. I sold it to buy the Big RED Beast. Wish I wouldn't have sold it now. It was a sweet 54hp brute. Two wheel drive and no power steering. :laughing: Oh yeah......it had metal fenders that I could stand on and trim tree branches.:thumbsup:

I bought a blue one and love it. to each his own. but I priced the mahindras with a serious intention to buy and I think I was shown the exact same price on the 4035 with loader as on his price sheet. I just thought they were less expensive than the others but I was wrong. But I really didn't see any reason they should have been cheaper, good looking machines. I just couldn't find out anything about them. But there is definately nothing wrong with green either.
