Mowing mid mount mower-bx series

hello folks,

I have a bx 2200 with a mid mount mower. while i was mowing today, the mower just stopped, cutting high grass. now the clutch will not engage.

did I brake a shear pin? nothing happens when I turn the PTO on.
any help would be appreciated.

Check the shaft is the hydro spinning but not the shaft?

check the pto selection first. Perhaps its on the rear pto instead of the MMM pto.

Thanks guys...there was a stick that got jammed in the linkage for the PTO selector.

no problem ! nothing like finding a simple solution that costs nothings to be up and running. Now I am sure that since you found a stick in there, you might want to consider buying or building a skid plate for it. you wouldnt want a stick to go to your little fan.

Good advice. The list is long of those who were aware of the need but continued to put it out of mind until the inevitable happened. Some of them had advance warning as well. Radioman is right on target.
