Why yellow for the brake pedals - Just for a unique accent?

That is what they are from the factory.

Thanks Dieznutz, those 12 years I spent working at Kubota dealers must have payed off. Even my buddy whose ranch I'm doing the work at, was surprised that I knew where all of the pieces went when I was putting it back together. I keep reminding him that he could bring me that era of Kubota in a box and I would know where all of the pieces went.

Tomorrow I should be able to get the hood, dash, and loader frame painted and installed.

That looks awesome, Brian. I love how the OEM colors contrast with each
other.

Have you been sand blasting before painting? Or?

Just scuffing with scotchbrite pads and wiping down with lacquer thinner.

NICE!

It would take me over a year to find the time to do that project, and you've done it in about a week.

The hood was pretty smashed, it didn't get as straightened as I would have liked, but I didn't want to spend $600 for a new hood either. I have a friend that told me he liked doing metal work and he would straighten it out for me. I learned that when someone says they like to do metal work, it does not mean they are good at it. It is a lot better than what it was but not anywhere near perfect. I'll have some more pics this weekend. Hopefully with it completely done.
