red blood 'spots in white of the eye

Food poisoning sucks. And you just know it was something you ate just a few hours later and get very mad as you go "down for the count". I've had it where I thought is was the end of the world and it was actually a very minor case. There was a case of it here a few years ago at a fast food place where many folks got permanent kidney damage. YIKES!

Ok.. I think I found it:

Subconjunctival hemorrhage (bleeding): Generally, this condition is painless. Vision is not affected. The eye will have a red spot of blood on the sclera (the white part of the eye). This occurs when there is a rupture of a small blood vessel on the surface of the eye. The area of redness may be fairly large, and its appearance is sometimes alarming. It is not dangerous and generally goes away slowly with no treatment.

Hello; Thanks for your searching, but I was wondering if you have this blood stain can you where contacts durning this period of time?
If you hear anything please let me know as soon as possible

Sounds right - as long as there is no change in vision. It is so red because the conjunctiva (the clear covering over the eye) has such a high oxygen tension; the subconjunctival hemorrhage doesn't turn blue like bruises at other sites.
