Tractor
Century 2535/Zetor 4341
I have a tractor made under the name Century, now I believe it is marketed under the name Branson. It has been pretty much babied and has C-systen hydraulics, a bucket, snowblower and a blade to level gravel driveways, a top but not a cab; also a home made bale spear. 299 hours. I have just upgraded in size and power and bought a Zetor 4341 from a neighbor. Does anybody have a feel for what this Century 2535 and the implements might be worth?
I have had no problems with this machine and have religiously changed the oil
every season. New hydraulic hoses too.
Thanks

In most cases I will go 60% of the new cost when buying something used. So lets say you have $20,000 in the rig then $12,000 would be what me as a buyer would be willing to give, especially in this economy with so much stuff for sale at rock bottom prices right now.

Chris,
What a great name you have! LOL
I just called Steve Foskett Equipment ansd asked for a professional opinion. He more or less concurs with you on the mode of calculation. I have more in than $20k so it's a little higher.
Thanks for the feedback

Glad I was close. I buy and sell quite a few things. Mainly boats but that is a good starting point. The main issue you have right now selling anything used is financing on new is so good and with the economy the market is flooded with people dumping stuff dirt cheap.

Case in point. A guy at my marina just bought a 1 year old boat with 16 hours on it and not a single scratch for about 55% from the cost of new.

Biggest problem is, it's a Century...not known for resale (been a few years since I've even read that name).
If you're lucky, Branson will have parts available (if it is, in fact, a Branson rebadge).
$12K might be a decent starting point...good luck!

Check out the Branson and Century forum for more insights. It should be similar to a Branson 3510 model from that year. I have the same tractor (2004 model) and loader and it is a delight to use. I think many Branson parts will fit. Good Luck willie jones

There should be no problem getting parts for that Century. And they are known to have excellent loaders. It would be a great buy at $12-13K.
