What does my TC40 need for a 3pt log splitter

There is a used 3pt log splitter available locally.

My TC40D is bone stock; no add on's. If I buy this log splitter, what do I need to get hydraulics to it from the tractor? I do not have top/tilt or anything yet...

Or a set of remotes. At least I run my splitter off the remotes with no problems and the remotes are handy for other attachments too.

Robert, if you want, you can run your splitter off the loader quick connects. You'll just need to buy fittings and longer hoses. You can't use your loader when you are running the splitter anyhow. If you want, you can mount that splitter on a small trailer and put it anywhere around your tractor. It doesn't have to be on the 3PH. You can set it to the right side of your tractor and have easy hookup to the FEL quick connects and access to the joystick to start hydraulic flow.

If you decide to go with remotes, it will be a little over $500 for your first remote valve/fittings. That's probably more than the splitter will cost.

It(splitter) was gone already...

I want to add TnT, but can't do it right now. I made my own setup on my previous Kubota; I used the TnT all the time. When I add the TnT, I'll make sure I have a remote port too.

Sorry, yes, have a loader. Other than that, no additional hydraulic type stuff. Just a rotary mower and a scraper.
