Thanks! The place still needs some polishing but is cleaning up nicely. The wife and I repainted the interior walls this week and changed light fixtures to bring it up to date. Whew, I'm tired Hoss. Ready for some R&R. LOL!

I am assuming from your post that your farm is in Stony Point. Not many know where that is,but I do since I was raised near there. Don't live there any longer, but I still have fond memories of the area.

You are correct -- it's just on the Iredell County side. I grew up there but left when I graduated HS in 1965. I'm back now -- well, at least for two weeks of the month -- since retiring in 2007. It's changed a lot over the years.

Where were you raised?

Raised in Statesville, with my folks having a second home in Fleetwood (Ashe County).

Great -- at least there are two TBN members with Iredell County connections. Iredell remains the leading NC county, by a wide margin, for dairy production.

Me too. Work in Statesville, live in western Rowan. Also have some work in Ashe and Alleghany counties. Might as well go on and include Davidson and Davie too. And Rowan.
