As I look at various CUTs in the 35 HP range the JD 3x20 series quickly comes to the forefront...along with Kubota L series...xx00 and xx40.
One question I have is track width. The 3x20 series appears to be quite narrow...minimum width listed as 40.6" for the 3x20 JDs and 60"-65" for the 35-40HP Kubota's xx00 and xx40 series.
Stability is important to me and it width seems to be pretty important to a tractors footprint and stability? When I look at a 3x20 series at the JD dealers it does actually look pretty narrow...to a fault??
Am I seeing this wrong OR is the JD 3x20 series really more narrow than its competitors? Maybe JD did this on purpose...I don't think I need a more narrow tractor...at least up to a point.
Your thoughts??? Thanks...still learning...Tom R
