Additional light switch on 3000 TWENTY series

I recently purchased a used 3520 and wanted to purchase the forward lighting kit in addition to a rear work light kit.

I wanted to put the lights on a separate switch(s) from the main lights. They don't have to necessarily be on when the main lights are off, but I just want to be able to have them off sometimes when the main ones are on. I see where there are additional blanks on the right fender (next to cruise control switch) where it would be nice to put a switch. Can you buy just a basic switch that would snap into those places where I could control the additional lighting?

You can probably get a basic switch to fit in the slots. Make sure it can handle the current of two lights, what you might have to do is relay the switch to run the lights so you don't over tax it.

Take out one of the switches and measure the base dimensions. You can get switches at Mouser Electronics on line or look in Deere parts for one of there's.

Actually it's a good idea and I might do it myself as I just ordered front lights from my dealer.

I looked this up for someone else a few weeks ago, don't remember the part # but do recall the switch was about $18 on JD Parts. This will snap right inplace.
