When I had physically looked at the 3120 model in the past, I didn't think the tire track was any if much narower than the Kubota L3400 or the Mahindra 3215 models I was looking at. However, if you do a search you will find a thread that talks about adding axle spacers to add more width and stability to this series. I did notice that the front tires tracked a little wider than the rear. When I operated the FEL up and down the whole tractor seemed to shutter a bit more than the others. Deere recommends highly to have some counter balance on the 3 point and I'm sure filling the rear tires would help. I'm not sure if possibly there is a higher center of gravity causing this in these models.
, but both the Kubota and Mahindra felt more stable. Oh, by the way, if you can measure the width from the center to center of each rear tire, my Mahindra measures 48", if this helps for comparison, or outside tire tread to outside tire tread measurement on mine with R4s is 61".
