Good Evening:

Our good friend "Dcyrilc" was kind enough to host a picnic this summer for TBN members. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend. But I had a thought based on some other groups I have belonged to down through the years.

Would anyone be interested in gathering on a Saturday morning or midday for a cup O'Joe and some good face to face tractor banter? I am not proposing any kind of organization at this point, if it grows into that fine, but I am more interested in providing an occassional face to face meeting just as a way to share our interest:D in tractors and all the cool stuff:cool: they can do, not to mention, of course, the occassional aggravation:mad:.

I am willing to organize, notify, find us a place, etc. if there is enough interest. There is also the possibilty of getting some of our local experts to do short talks on subjects of interest, but we will cross that bridge when the time comes.

So, to get started please reply to this thread if you are interested in an informal get together and provide me some general idea of your location, like Port Orchard, or Port Angeles, or Port Townsend, okay, enough with the "Ports" already:confused2:

Anyway based on who is interested I will try to pick some centralized location. No date certain, yet, but likely late October/early November. I have been meaning to post this for quite some time, but time seems to be a rare commodity these days. However, I discovered some airlines now have wi-fi so this is coming to you from somewhere over eastern Montana.

Thanks in advance for your interest.

what's central between North Ms. and you? Just kidding, sounds like a great idea, but would have to have chapters.

Just saw Western Washington. sorry

Well as you know I'm in Woodinville. My work schedule has me on nights for a week starting Monday, October 18th. The Saturday following that, I'll probably be pretty tired. Other than that weekend, I should be game.

I am still unaccustomed to using this site :p, but sure sounds good to me. I am around the Darrington area and my time is flexible. Will try to make whatever is decided upon. Would enjoy it!

Always interested, down in the Vancouver / Portland area. Work is a 8 to 7 deal and has last minute "have to work weekends"

Yeah depending on place and time I would try to make it. Weekends are usually better for me.

I see you also list Atol, Idaho. I actually know exactly where that is. Is it a summer/recreation spot?

I also have property in eastern WA in Stevens County near a place called Fruitland.

I'm in the Redmond area and would be interested in a weekend gathering.

Great idea!!!

I would consider coming up from the West Lewis county area. Especially if you picked a rainy day :) I work every third day so any day of the week is the same to me.

Mornings at about 1000 would be great. Even at that I'd have to leave really early to get that far and over the Narrows Bridge with my 2550 as it is not very fast. The calcium filled tires kind of do this rocking motion on the road and might upset my stomach so I may need a second breakfast when I get there as well.:licking:

I see a Tim Allen, "tool time" activity possible for our first meeting to boost that speed. I am sure at 60 MPH the rocking will become a harmless harmonic vibration (lol).
Based on responses to date, the meeting spot is more likely to be east of the Narrows. Not sure what typeof toll they might charge for a 2550.

Yes, but I hope to semi retire there in the next hand full of years.
I've been busy developing the lot.

Fruitland? are you near the water?
