How worried should I be? (Kubota BX)

we had the same prob no a 8530 jd at work we put the new rubber on then made a soft steel plate a put over it with some hose clamps done well over 3000hrs like it no probs yet touch wood

The new parts for the BX are pretty expensive. I had mine replaced recently. My son in law has been running my old BX2200 with torn boots for two years.

I looked in my BX1500 parts book and it doesn't show the boot as being sold separately like in my L4400 parts book. I would think that it would be sold separately though.
