Want any more? I'm in the process of cutting all the ones on my fenced 2 acres....seems the dogs like to eat the fruit and it has been known to plug a dog's digestive tract with the pits...already lost a dog with a blocked intestine, not from persimmons, but I do not want to go through that again![]()
They come up all over in my pasture where I don't want them.
This one is in the back and I not deer like them so it can stay.
Do you need to treat black spot disease to keep it from spreading to other trees?
I think that it is a common problem that only rarely has any l
ong-term ill effects.
