No, not me! A crew is mowing the ROW today on the road that my house is off of. They were working maybe a mile down the road heading my direction when.... they decided to park it in a safe place for the night lol! :laughing: There was a driveway right behind it so I was able to pull in and snap a pic from behind. Went on down, turned around, and came back and pulled off as close as I could get to it without falling off in the other ditch myself! This is a very busy road during the rush hours so I wasn't about to get out and walk up to it to take a closer pic, I just zoomed in close as it would get.
From what I could tell, the side mounted flail mower was sitting on hard ground. Maybe even part of the undercarriage is sitting on ground too? That ditch looks to be rather deep and pretty narrow at the same time. I think he was trying to keep the tires right at the edge of the ditch but maybe it was soft/loose and gave way under the weight? Looking at the first picture I'm not sure if that right rear is stuck in a wet, oozy type of mud, or if it's just really dry, sandy dirt?? It's sunk up to the top of the rim anyway!!
So I left there and went on into town to do my errands and met their maintenance truck followed by another big tractor pulling a big 8ft bush hog (not 3pt) behind it. Looked like they were headed to the rescue!
About 45 minutes later, I was headed back by there on the way home the tractor was still stuck, with no help in sight!! It looked like it had been moved though, as it was a little further from the driveway and more dirt was piled up from the left rear tire spinning. Apparently they realized it was going to take a big wrecker to extricate this stuck puppy!
