Flail Mower Anyone Know Anything About This Mower?

There is an implement dealer in Oregon who sells "Value Leader" brand flail mowers at what appears to be competitive prices. They also advertise on Ebay with a 100% feedback report. Has anyone used one of these flail mowers, or know anything about the quality and parts availability? Thanks

I have not heard of them, However, If it is USA or Italian made, Quality should be ok. Make sure it is not of China origin. Ken Sweet

The lack of exterior structural steel worries me more than anything as it appears to have no bracing and the side weldments seem have no bracing either, the lack of skids or appearance of skids has me scratching my head too.:confused2:


Is it me or is there no rear roller on the mower?, it would explain why it is so low to he ground and skid if any are not visible

I have the heavy duty version 68". It is well built and performs very well. I love it. Had mind since last Dec, about 120 hours, using both the hammers and Y blades. It has skids, roller, made with 1/4" steel, zerks, 3 belts, etc. Yes, it's made in China, The dealer, Betstco is good to deal with.

Notice, that I removed the hydraulic offset. Didn't have remotes installed.
I do like the current offset as I can get up close to my fences, go around plants, and my track is covered. I may reinstall the hydraulic after I do my rear remotes, but might not. I am curious to see how it works with the hydraulic toplink. I have tried using the slot instead of the pin hole, but didn't feel I had the control I wanted.
