Cushman Haulster / Truckster Info needed.

I would look at getting one of those pull behind mowers if you really want to mow with it. The engine might be able to handle a brush hog when new but now after getting some hours on it the engine might be a little weak to handle one. I think if you put a brush hog on it you are asking to break something. These were built to haul stuff not do heavy work. The aerator for it had its own engine. I would be worried about shock loads from the brush hog.

I just finished a 4" suspension lift on one of them. one of the wheel cylinders broke so had to order a new one. once that arrives it will be up and running... will definitely be a more capable machine now... larger tires coming when I have the $$. probably a new paint job too

Do you still need any info about those trucksters? I just joined the forum. I use to teach regional service schools on those machines and still have many parts for them. They are a very useful tool around the house. They were the main work vehicles around the golf courses for many years. They can just about pull stumps in low range. Let me know. Mark, did you teach at the factory in Lincoln? I think I attended a couple of the schools when you were teaching. I worked for Jenkins Machinery in Concord, CA.

What did you have to do, or where did you buy the 4inch lift kit for the turf trucksters. I have been wanting to do this. I have a 1986 three wheel'ed. Is it possible to do the front as well?
