I have a bx24 and i would like to build a carry all. I havent used my 3pt much at all, maybe 2 times. I keep the back hoe on it mostly, but now it time for other uses...

I am wondering is anyone can help me out with some dimensions.
1. What should the length be from the center of the top link pin to the center of the draw pin or clevis pin(think that what its called?)? Line A?
2. how high should the bottom clevis pins be from the bottom of the carry-all? Line B?
3. How long are the forks usually? Line C?
4. What size angle should i use? I was planning on 2.5" x 1/4' thick.

I know for the cost of what its really not worth building, but can do it at work for just the cost of the clevis pins.

I have been reading about the quick hitches so i was going to keep it roughly 27.25" wide, just shy of the 27.5" mark.

I know its not a complicated build, but any suggestions or commets and help much appreciated.

just bought mine at TSC yesterday.

a= 15.5"
b= 15.5"
c= 36"
d= 3"x3"x.25"

If you need any other measurements or pics, I can take them.

Search for a thread "Cat 1 3PH specs" and use the dimensions listed for cat 1 if you are building it yourself. The TSC carrier will not fit a lot of the quick hitches and is not standard by any means that I know of. My TSC carryall is drilled wrong for the top link and is too skinny for a quick hitch-- JMHO

Thank you very much, found good info for pin diameters. I think the critical measurement you are talking about is the spacing or width of the lower lift pins. From what i have been reading some quick hitches are 26.5" and 27.5", which the 27.5" is the most common.

Well time to scrounge up some scrap metal. I also have to figure out which lower lift pins to purchase...

I built a tote box a few years ago. I've attached my drawing plans and pics of the box. My most used attachment.

I see my Powerpoint plans didn't show up. I'm not smart enough to figure out how to attach a powerpoint document I guess. Sorry!!

Very nice, that holds a lot of wood. :thumbsup:
Is that a cat 1 or 2? Your tractor is much bigger than mine :laughing:

You can send the pp to my email
Thanks!

Also wanted to mention, originally I didn't have any sort of latch system on the box. After it dumped a load of wood unexpectedly I built latchs, one on each side. See picture.

My shop burned a couple years ago and I lost my Kubota. The tote box also burned. But as you can see, it's still useable, on a much smaller tractor. The box is Cat 1. I can't remember the brand of my quick hitch, bought it at Tractor Supply.
