782 breather blowby

I have a model 782 hyrostatic cub cadet. I have been getting some blowby of what appears to be oil, but is much thinner, and smells like gasoline. It blows by in the breather thru the little rubber tube on the bottom of the breather plate. Any ideas where this is coming from?

I have a model 782 hyrostatic cub cadet. I have been getting some blowby of what appears to be oil, but is much thinner, and smells like gasoline. It blows by in the breather thru the little rubber tube on the bottom of the breather plate. Any ideas where this is coming from?

The rubber tube attaches to a plate on the top of the engine. The purpose of the tube is to provide crankcase ventilation. Crankcase open venting is not allowed anymore, so this is Cubs way of burning crankcase emissions to reduce pollutants.
