I am looking at replacing the rear tires on a 755, factory turf tire size 31x12.50-15. The closest size I can find is 31x13.50-15. Is this aqcceptable or is there a problem. I am assuming the tire is 1 inch wider, but diameter and rim diameter is the same.

Is the tractor 4x4 or have a mid mount mower?? If it is either of these I would not change tire size.

The MMM has been removed and most likely will be junked. Yes, it is 4x4 ehydro.

Only the very early model 755 2WD came with 31x12.50-15 inch tires. All later models, 2WD and 4WD, came with 33x12.50-15. 31 inch tires are not for use with 4WD. This can be confirmed on JD Parts.

Thanks, I was going by the manual, I found a source for the proper size.
