AND gander mountain. as far as I can tell, only the large retail chains even got the circuit judge. smaller distribuitors didn't even get them yet.

Contender with a 45lc/410 barrel is only rifled the last inch or so. Sure is hard on snakes, easy on recoil. Wife took over that one first time she shot it.

perhaps this one is the same way? it does have a scre in rifled choke.. havn't checked the rest of the bbl for grooves.

I know these came out around the first of the year, but they have not been in stores very long. I keep waiting to read a review online, but can't find anything. My BIL saw one last weekend at Academy sports. The salesman let him look at it, but said they were sending it back because of a problem with it. They are supposed to get in a new shipment next week. It can also be had with a full smoothbore barrel. JC

its funny about hard to get firearms....I recently received emails from two online dealers that the firearm I placed on "notify me when you have them" basis were now available. Except it has been over a year at both places:shocked:
BTW this was a Sig P238....I got one 6 or 8 months ago...and don't even like it. Big disappointment, and as far as I'm concerned, not up to the old Sig standards. Sig used to be really good, I love my P228 and P220..I've had several problems with the P238, sorry I bought it

called rossi today. they said you can shoot either ammo with either choke insert.. with the only downside being loss of accracy at range with the incorrect insert.

I wondered how it would do with slugs. I thought .410 shells were high till I priced some .45 long colts. I bet in a year or so, they may offer one that will shoot the .454 casull. JC

Raging Judge Magnum- was introduced back in January. Not sure of availability or price....
