I hope we have not lost sight of the fact that the original poster is in Argentina, South America, posting in his native language, and communicating in a friendly way with all of us. I've been amazed how many TBN folks have more than one language at their command. Thus, our community is broad and aware that there is a world beyond the USA.

Those of us who posted in two languages are seeking to the best of our ability to assure communication with the broader TBN community.

It's my understanding that the whole point is conversation and the exchange of ideas. If I post in a language that the majority of members don't read, I'm kind of defeating the purpose.
I can speak some Mandarin Chinese, but if I posted in Chinese, I wouldn't expect much of a response.

But they can, and do.

So one thread out of 100K is in Spanish and a few of you have an issue with that? Who cares? If there are some native Spanish speakers out there why should we limit their discussion? Lighten up and you may even learn something new....

Así que uno de cada hilo de 100K es en español y algunos de ustedes tienen un problema con eso? A quién le importa? Si hay algunos hablantes nativos de español por ahí ¿por qué limitar su discusión? Aclarar y usted puede incluso aprender algo nuevo ....

This. Sounds like a few are just upset because they are being left out.

Don't give too much credit on bilingual language abilities...Google has a translator that is very easy to use...simply type in English...it translates to Spanish or whatever language you want and then you copy and paste here...real easy to do and everyone thinks you are multilingual or bilingual..:)

I guess what I should have said is I simply don't care. If I can't read it, I go to another post!

BUT, the original post was one cool looking Bovine Fuel Cell Production Machine.

Well.... the automatic translators are reasonable at getting words together sufficiently such that one can perceive the sense of the original post...however, it is far from perfect, not even good....In every translation I have ever done it has made egregious errors that have to be worked thru. Grammar, phrasing and improper word selection are common errors they make.

In this thread, almost all the bilingual posts are actually from bilingual people. I know because grammar and phrasing are appropriate. Proper punctuation is something few attempt unless they are truly familiar with the language. If you can read Spanish, you know who you are.

The original post was made by a fellow in Argentina driving a tractor far larger than anybody I know of here on TBN, and likely responsible for vastly more acreage than anyone here on TBN.... It was made in good spirits, pleasant and honest... he is not an illegal border jumper...we should accord his posts respect, welcome him warmly and look forward to further posts.
