As ERE howled, Welcome to the "Pack," Jim.

I'm a new Kioti owner too, purchase my DK40SE in June. Hopefully your initially experience is better then my. My experience was very rocky, but it's getting better.

I'm hoping winter holds off enough for me to finish up my earth work project.

Are you near Gaspe Bay?

Welcome aboard Jim. I'm jealous of your cab even though I don't need to blow snow.

Welcome Jim. I have had my DK50SE for about 3 months and I really like it. I pull a 7.5 ft flail mower with mine and use the front end loader all the time. I don't know how I ever got along without it. You will enjoy the ergonomics of the tractor. I like all the leg room on the Kioti. It starts and runs effortlessly. Enjoy!

Welcome aboard. The cab is really nice to have. It took me about a week before I figured out that the door prop latches were actually door prop latches and not something else. Yes, I'm a moron. The filters for the AC/Heat are under the cab top, so replacing them means taking off the top. If/when you do (many many months from now) be careful about the wires for the lights and antenna. It's 4 nuts to take off the skin, but you have to loosen them first and then sneak the edge up enough to reach under and unhook the light's bullet connectors.
I had a rather large object fall on the cab top...about a 700lb section of wall. No damage except for the top skin got a few cracks. Took it off and repaired them with epoxy and glass cloth/mat. Impressed me that it could take such a whack and not be wrecked.

I like not having a cab it would be boring if I didn't swet like a pig during the summer and freeze my n_ts off in the winter what's the fun in that?

Yeah, don't forget about the exercise we cabless types get while running away from wasps too.
