11 in binary = 3
1 in binary =1
11 (binary) plus 1 (binary or decimal) = 4 (decimal)
or course 11(binary) + 1(binary or decimal) = 100 (binary)

It is a fact of mathimatics..
or at least that is what the answer my college electronics professor told me..

The final exam had 3 questions...

prove this:

11+11 = 110

100+100 = 1000

and the big one
what is
1111001110001110011 + 11000000111000011110001111 = ______

( I am sure the numbers are off on the last one, it's been a few years...)
