Think he was referring to the OP's name being a New Holland model, TC33DA.
You are correct sir in my reference - As for Pushing Tin - I'm glad there's somebody that can do all that directing. Now back to your regularly scheduled programming.

Heh, showing my tractor ignorance. Sorry.

Sorry, I thought you were referring to me. :ashamed:

What's the trick to changing my user name? I know how to do the oil, but the name is tricky. I sold the TC33 and went green. Owned the TC33 for 30 days. Drove a 3720 cab and party was over.

You can't change a username. All you could do is re-register and never use the old one again. Proves why is not a great idea to link your username to specific model or manufacturer.

Kenny is right. I registered when I had the New Holland TC40D and must have assumed I would have the New Holland for the rest of my days. The New Holland was a great tractor but in the end I cheated on New Holland and bought the 4720 Deere.

Remember, just like getting the tattoo with the name of your wife/girl friend, times change and we don't always end up with the original. Getting a new user name on TBN is like getting the tattoo removed. You can do it, but its painful.

I remember guys in the service getting a tattoo of some girl's name and a week later getting a 'Dear John' letter. Now they had to go out and find another girl with the same name or wait 35 years for it to turn into a purple blur!

Ah, the beauty of a bar next to a tattoo parlor.

I'm probably different than most. I created my username only after owning my 755 for 16 years. With still low hours and being absolutely troublefree and in great shape I saw no reason or need in the future to change. I retired in the house I built 20 years ago with the tractor I bought to be my last one. Before the 755 I had a JD 430 for several years. It was small enough to be convenient to transport until I built the house. So with my JD history even if the 755 should blow up tomorrow and need a replacement it would be another Deere and I would still be proud to use the JD755 name. So while I completely agree it is typically not a good idea to use a tractor model for your user name, there can be rare exceptions. Or is it well-done exceptions? Anyway, that's just me, JD755.

Don't blame you, the 755 is a little sweetie!
