Tractor
Kubota B2620
Hello all, I am considering a set of pallet fork for my B2620, therefore I require to purchase a quick attach for the loader. I spoke to a JD salesman that I met during a home renovation job ( I am a electrician ) and he said that JD tractors have quick attach loader on almost all the tractors. He said this has been an STANDARD feature for approx 15 years!!
If the B2620 was a new model in 2008, maybe Kubota should view the competition !! My tractor is great, the only issue is the pedal. It almost always coast and I have to apply pressure to the pedal in the opposite direction to stop.

JD's key word must be almost. My 2004 JD 790 with 419 loader sure didn't have it.

The 420 loader? Yes my friend, it does/did. It was not the SSQA (skid steer quick attach, or commonly call Bobtach) but rather John Deere's proprietary setup called the JDQA.

Yes, JD has had that feature for at least that long standard. It's one of the reasons I chose JD years ago. You can search the term JDQA for more info.

A "quick attach loader" is not the same thing as a "quick attach" for a loader.

The first describes the method of mounting and removing the loader itself from the tractor, the second describes a device which allows you to easily attach various implements to the loader (bucket, pallet forks, etc.)

Yup. JD has both standard...Kubota only has one. We both know what the OP is talking about though:thumbsup:

The nice thing is the Kubota has the skid steer standard so you can use a ton of different items that can be found on Ebay, Craigslist, etc for a decent price. Well worth the few extra $ if you ask me.

Can you list a "ton" of items you could use on a small tractor? Just about anything you'd find on CL or eBay will be to big and heavy. There are three basic thing that work well on small tractors-bucket, forks, and small grapples.
