yooper1, Good job and a much needed thread in this section. Can you add/cover how to re-size a photo before posting?
Well, without trying to cover so many programs out there I will show how you can edit / resize a photo once it has been placed on the Photobucket site.
When you are viewing the page on PhotoBucket that has the desired photo you want to resize, click on the
EDIT link above that photo:
and you will get this page:
where you see the choices in the upper tool bar.
You can either click on the
RESIZE icon or use the
SLIDER to the right hand side.
When you click the
RESIZE icon you will get this page:
where you can either enter the desired size (height & width) in the appropriate boxes
or
You can use the
SLIDER off to the right to make adjustments.
Then once you have resized it, (whichever way you chose) you need to click the
BLUE REPLACE ORIGINAL button on the bottom of that screen
And the newly sized photo may take "awhile" to show it is resized if you already posted it somewhere on the web.
It is just a matter of time to allow the new size to catch up with the posted url.
(If you did not post it before resizing, you will have no problem)
