anyone play board games with mini's you paint?

I've played 40k, warhammer, epic.. etc.. fro a while.

justgot into a new board game.. Last night on earth.

it's a zombie survival game.

just started painting my mini's. here's a couple hero's and some zeds..

I play board games when the family forces me to, typically open a bottle of wine to make it more enjoyable. Since most of the figures are lost already we scramble for whatever toy we can use - once I played with 30-06 shell - the preferred game is crazy labyrinth by Ravensbrug.

the group I hang with is into mini games.. whether it is epic space battles, militaria like axis and alies.. etc.

we always paint our minis, and add extra terain from train sets to add to the realism.. lets you see line of sight.. cover.. etc.. etc.

got 12 more hero's to paint and um 20-30 more zombies...

2-6 players or can single player it with a few mods..

me and my friends are avid board gamers. usually military strategy stuff like axis and allies.. but plenty of sci-fi-fanatasy... like arkham horror.. etc.

Just bought this game for my daughters god father, cant wait to play it. Loved axis and allies--hated when i got stuck with russia. Played a ton of other games too.

when you play russia.. you have one job.. put alot of tanks and infantry into germany and lean on them heavy while uk does the same with some nave and bombers. us should handle japan onthe far side.

you'll love the game.

i was at a gun show this weekend and passed a comic book shop.. stopped in and found another zombie game called zombie town.. it was cheap enough so i grabbed it.. can't have to many zombie games.. besides.. even if the game stinks it came with a bag of 100 zombies in it..

I saw there is another game called zombie diplomacy, looked like of like it was similar to WWZ. (great book btw).
