Here's a site/story that I am sure many will find interesting.

Deer in the Yard

P.S. Don't forget to scroll down for the video and fuull story.
Interesting, thanks for sharing.
But, I do have to agree with the others........male deer can become extremely violent(as they age), so be careful.
After all..........they are "wild animals"

I shot a couple of hooved rats who decided to sleep on our front lawn. After taking out over 20 in a 3 year period, we generally only get a couple on the property instead of a herd. There are 2 that I've been trying to take out all year. The vultures really enjoy them.

Wow, that's pretty interesting. And odd a bit too.

And of course when someone gets hurt they'll ask "what happened? it wasn't my fault.". I see similar things around our area also drive by a house on the outskirts of town and there Joe nice man our in his back yard feeding around 30 deer (btw; it's illegal to feed here also execpt from a feeder). And on top of that they're in the city limits where they can't be hunted and then get hit by vehicles and the damages that go along with that.

It just goes on and on.

Not being a fan of lawyers, I'd take someone like that to court, I do believe. Many states it's illegal to "feed" wildlife like that. Here we have a neighbor lady that throws feed on her property out near the road. She's on about 60 or so acres, so why near the road I don't have a clue. Anyway one of them was hit and wounded by a car, so the next day this moron puts a sign out on the road for everyone to "slow down". Uhhh, maybe if she wern't feeding them they would be in the woods eating what they're supposed to and not trying to cross the freakin road all the time.

We live about 8 miles away from a small town, and it's a beautiful, wooded, windy road. LOTS of bicycles and motorcycles like this road. On occasion, you even see a ferrari club come through. My point is someday she's gonna get some poor motorcycle guy in the hospital, or worse, cause he hit one of her "pets". Of course it won't be HER fault, he was going too fast!

I wonder how she'd take to the idea of me settin up a tree stand across the road from her?????:licking:

I wish all these crazy bastards that feed them lived near me, it would be so easy to just put a little feed on the muzzle of my rifle and wait for the deer to walk up. As I stated earlier around here when deer see humans they make themselves scarce cause we are meat eaters.
