Does anybody know of a good textbook for teaching yourself about hydraulics? I'm thinking of something along the lines of Koel's Carpentry text...comprehensive, yet adaptable to self-learning. I see a few texts out there, but I have no way of knowing which is good.
It seems like I've been fixing various forms of hydraulic systems since I was a lad...usually in the cold and dark...and I'm tired of guessing. I'd like to just buy a book and learn the theory and have a reference for equations and so on.
