Loader does not have the lift capabilities it should have. Only has 250hrs on it, we have already serviced the filter. Seems to curl the bucket fine, but won't break-out or lift a lot at all. I had previously owned a Ford 2120, which is basicly the same machine, and it would run circles around this one. Any ideas?

You might want to include either in your signature or in the post what the tractor is you are dealing with that way we dont have to look at the profile just to find out.
So since we are talking about a TC45....
We need more details. What is causing it to not lift??? Is it posibally because the rear tires are comming into the air?? Do you have filled tires and a ballast or implement on the 3PH. If not, it should have no trouble at all getting the rears airborn.
If you do have sufficent ballast to keep the rear planted, what is it that you are trying to lift?? If you are trying to move a pile of dirt, technique can go a long way. Goung into the bottom of a big pile with a flat bucket and then trying to lift and curl back can cause major problems. You are esentially trying to lift the whole pile, which can be alot more than the loader was designed for.
And if you do indeed have a problem with the tractor/hydraulics, sped 10-15 bucks and get a pressure guage. That will answer a lot of questions.

Not a very good post for your third post.
I am sure you are just kidding but a post like that is totally uncalled for especially to a guy with only one post. He came here for help and this is a great forum for that. Most all of us are understanding and helpfull and the last thing I think anyone should do is try to drive a new guy away.
Kinda reminds me of the way I was brought up. If you dont have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.
Dont get me wrong, I am all for fun and teasing. But this guy only has one post and you didn't even put a smilie at the end of it, so what is he supposed to think??? That we are all a bunch of stuck-up morons and arent going to help him because he didn't buy the same kind of tractor you have??

Checking hydraulic pressure will be one thing but it involves installation of the gauge. In the mean time you can do few basic checks. If in example one of the lift cylinders has a leakage it will get hot. If the valve leaks it will get also hot. Passing pressure relive valve will get also hot. If the pump is belt driven check the belt tension. Etc.

Apparently unable to say why the Case tractor is better, and would assume no experience with other tractors (otherwise you might not feel so smug
). How old are you?
Your profile says you have a Case 4367.
Is that a model number? What can you tell us about that tractor?

After what I've seen, I wouldn't recommend a Case to anyone.
A friend of mine has one, 7 years old, 4 wheel drive(big tractor).
Gears on front hubs went out, he actually had to get parts from a junkyard.
For 7 year old machine!
And the funny part is..........the junkyard had several of them.

Why waste energy on a harmless post like that? He didn't mean that bad, and his mom have obviously missed to teach him not tease people if they do not have a Case tractor. In Case there is a Case that need help next time....we can give back some friendly "hard time" back then. No banning necessary.

Does the relief activate when trying to lift a load? Does the valve go into relief when trying to curl. That will tell you that you have pressure that was set on the relief. Does the 3 pt work satisfactory? Is there air in the system? Are the cylinders bypassing fluid?

Your tractor's hydraulic pressure is set to 2500 psi by the relief valve. The very first step is finding out what the actual pressure is as LD1 suggests. Also, put a load in the air and see if the bucket droops in curl/dump and if the lift arms slowly lower the load with the joystick in neutral. If you have leaks, the FEL should not hold in place.
Just saying your tractor doesn't lift enough is very subjective. You need more concrete numbers to work with than your estimation. I also wish for more power from my TC45D sometimes, but it is what it is and I've learned to use it well and get a tremendous amount done. I don't know how the loader would compare to the 2120, but I can tell you that the 2120 is the same size of tractor as the TC48 and TC55 which is one step bigger than the TC45D.
