GM still hasn't changed in my opinion. My experience is with a 2002 Pontiac Montana.

Disagree. GM is right there with anyone for pickups, sedans and sports cars. All cars have improved greatly in the last 10 years.

can think of it IT WENT BAD. THE DEALER GOT SO FRUSTRATED THEY STOPPED RETURNNING MY CALLS. I ended up putting it in my front yard filled it with dirt and planted a nice lemon tree in the front seat. FORD bought it back

I dunno. Have you driven one of those $2500 Indian made cars or about the same price Chinese made cars?

Now, that Mahindra diesel pickup....I'd seriously like to check one of those out for a light duty diesel pickup though. The few reports I've read have sounded promising.

Builder indicated the JD Sabre as a lemon, funny how things work, I bought a new 19 hp, 48" Sabre several years ago and couldn't be more pleased with it. It has a Kohler engine that runs perfectly. I mow about 3 ac of mountain ground that passes for our lawn and so far, nothing has broken. Maybe I was lucky and got one made on a good day.

We bought a stainless BBQ at costco 2 years ago.(not a cheap one)

Last week I tried to order parts for it..... good luck ! They are made in china.

The parts they did send didn't fit, wrong threads (metric)

So now we are shopping for an American made cooker.

I have a Weber, it cooks very well, it is made in the USA and I know that I can walk into Ace Hardware and pickup just about any part for it from a shelf or worst case, have it ordered. Of course since it made well it will probably never come to that. The majority of stuff coming out of China seems to be junk that has a engineered life of one to two years because they cut corners where you can't see it. Buy it right or buy it twice because only a rich man can afford cheap stuff.

Had a few lemon tractors over the years One being a 1969 JD 3120 bought from brand new and only doing 3000 hrs to today with 1 engine 3 sets of brakes ,hyd pumps etc. Repairs cost more than purchase price within 3 years.
A MF 3080 FWA admittedly mechanichaly a fantastic tractor that did 8900 hrs for us but not without a lifetime of crippling electrical and computer problems that never were eliminated and 2 new transmissions untill switching to a 16 spped tranny cured it .
And the trophy had to go to a Valtra T160 that i used to drive...2hyd pumps,front axle, Engine /electrical/computer (shutting down/lack of power) , Cab trim falling off in side and out , seat broke up, Exhaust stack breaking away from mounts, PTO problems ...plus many many more...all in first 2 years ?

Too bad lemon trees wouldn't grow up here. I could have done that with my Pontiac Montana. I had two blown head gaskets at less than 150,000 km (not miles) and GM wasn't there to acknowledge a problem. I didn't feel I had support from my local dealer even though they were the ones who serviced it and replaced the first head gasket. Needless to say I haven't had service done there since.

I had thought about putting it in the front yard and selling tickets allowing people to beat it to death with an eight pound maul!

If that comes with free beer...........I'm in:thumbsup:

I'll never forget when I was a teenager there was a guy with a white F-150 4x4 that had a big yellow lemon painted across the tailgate. :laughing: He even got on the local news to explain all the problems he had with it.
