Looking at Mini Excavators

/ Looking at Mini Excavators #41
I've been a Yanmar construction dealer for 10 years in Florida and have sold over 150 units with only 10 warranty claims that I have had to send in to the company. All of the other top brands are good machines too but only 10 warranty claims is pretty good. We also have rented every size they make with no problems or repairs unless the renter does it himself. Here's a nice size to own, a Vio 35-5 with heat and air, steel tracks that last forever and it's easy to tow with a weight of around 9000lbs. Check out some of my videos at Yanmar equipment and Kioti tractors, loaders, excavators and other machinery in Englewood, Florida - Excavator Vio20

Only 10 out of 150????? You think that is good? YIKES!!!! Kubota would be ashamed if they had such results.

Relax, chill out. You know how some customers are. They would want to warranty a microscopic scratch in the paint, or a defective light bulb, among a host of other BS that makes a product look bad on paper and in rumor. Kubota has their fair share of issues, don't kid yourself.

Machines for making money will have fewer complaints perhaps then high end toys like many CUT owners with time to fine that scratch in the paint. :D

I have been using a Yanmar VIO 27 for several years. NO warranty claims. It is my 4th machine. I have had Kobelcos and other Yanmar. The hydraulic bucket quick connect makes it head and shoulders above the others, all things being equal otherwise. I have 6 different attachments that I can change in less than a minute. It is like having 6 different machines on the job at once.

Kubota had a recall on my M5040 plus I had a problem with it blowing the main fuse. Both minor issues, but any piece of equipment can have a problem. I don't remember any other warranty issues on the Kubota equipment I have.

I'd say 10 out of 150 is pretty good.

I agree. I had one warranty issue on my Kubota, a switch on the blinkers wouldn't shut off. It had gotten wet. the reason it got wet.... I had washed it:laughing:.
