Anyone have an 8N? How is it working? You like it? What kind of deal did you get?

But the big question is this - can you get it without that darned chrome ROPS? I love the tractor - absolutely love it - but that chrome ROPS would get me mocked by every farmer within mocking distance.

yes you can. when a the price difference between the chrome rops and the black is only like $100.

The Chrome ROPS makes the tractor look so much nicer. Of all the 8n boomer I have seen all have chrome. There where very few even ordered with the black one. I have an amazing deal on a 8N boomer if you are interested PM me back

Mine was just delivered today, with a loader and 7ft snow blower. Used it to move snow for about a 1.5 hrs, I gotta say I love that CVT! It's actually a lot like running a fork lift, which I do a lot in my seed business, so it came very easy to me. Was surprised by the amount of push it has.
As for getting a good deal, I don't know, I got it for about the same price I see them listed for on the net. Besides that the dealer is a friend and customer of mine too. I went with the 0% financing, decided to use there money rather than mine.

Sorry I haven't taken any yet. I asked my wife if she did while I was pushing snow, her response.....was I supposed to? Well YA! oh well, I'll try to get some tomorrow for you. It's an expensive compact, no doubt, but it sure is sweet to run! And like I said, it has a lot more power than I expected. It is my first compact but I've farmed all my life so I've owned everything from 75hp to over 300 hp. I find this the easiest to operate tractor I've ever driven. And besides that it looks so cool!

OK, here are a couple of the pictures I promised. I had it out today only to move a few things to the other shed and forgot to take a picture while it was outside so the pix aren't the best.

Boy, that is a cool machine. There was a lot of grumbling about the price when it first came out, but I really like it. I would love to have the money and the space for one. I'll bet in 30 years it will be a highly desirable classic.

Enjoy your new machine. I enjoyed the pics.
