Hay Making Pics

Thanks for all the great pictures, brings back memories of when I used to drive the "train", a New Holland 5600, with a square bailer that had a kicker on the back and a hay wagon behind that. Was alot of fun for me, but for my brother who rode in the hay wagon and stacked the bales. The kicker had a movable output spout, so if my brother was giving me any lip...... I could shoot a bale at him

Looks like a nice outfit.:thumbsup: I owned a IH46 baler and a NH68. I upgraded to the NH315 and sold the IH. It is still making hay for the gentlemen I sold it to.

Yes the Montana Does handle them well .... no hills all flat ground in real thick Bermuda I do have to shift down.

The Frontier has been a good machine. Since I purchased the Branson 5530C I have moved the baler to that (55HP) and I am looking for my second cutter, If I can get another good buy on a Frontier thats what I want.

This coming year we are adding square bales to the hay deal.

A couple crappy cell phone pics of haying this summer here in NH. I spent many, many hours on the MF 135 pulling the tedder and rake. The 1100 has the baling chores. Nothing better than haying with a great veiw all summer long ! :thumbsup:

I never had used a kicker, it would of been handy at times. I know if i got lippy with the baler driver they would usally make sure to pop the clutch.

It is definitely a good way to learn about hard work and team work. A shade tree and cold water never tasted so good!
