Hey guys, I just purchased a Wylie 100 gallon 3 point sprayer with a 10' boom. I was just wondering if anyone has any advice on using and maintaining my new toy. Thanks.

Not trying to be a wise guy, but your best bet is to follow the instructions/directions/manual that came with the sprayer.

Let us know how you like the sprayer --I've been thinking about buying one.

Keep your filter, tank, lines clean. Any left over spray forms a residue that once dryed flakes and plugs things. Mine is boomless so I can not say much about the nozzles. A few drops of oil in the pto pump is usefull as well.

blueriver: Thanks for the advice. Noted. I think one issue for the pto pump is going to be keeping all of the West Texas dirt out of it.

That pump is pretty well sealed, as long as the in and out lines are on the pump you should remain dirt free.

Another thing, drain all the fresh rinse water out before you store it, any remaining will freeze and break the filter bowl ... I know!!!
