My current setup ....

I finished the chains last week... and I'm obscenely proud of them - they make a serious difference

Next year I'm hoping to have got around to shoving a blade on the FEL, and a blower on the back: After I've ridged snow to the side of the driveway it's a hassle to drag snow along the whole length or use the FEL to dump it over the side...

Part of the driveway with the house in the distance.

My snow fighting arsenal consists of a new Kioti CK35HST, a 12 year old John Deere 325 and 35 year old Bobcat snowthrower. They all have their uses. The snowthrower is great for sidewalks. The John Deere leaves a very clean, tidy result but takes some time. The Kioti moves a lot of snow and is not limited by large piles.

We will be building a new house with a 750' drive so I plan on putting a snowplow on the Kioti.
Nice, and I like I guy that has the tools first.

I know exactly what you mean! I didn't see a single buck until yesterday afternoon and he came right into the backyard (No hunting zone per my wife)

I put the plow on yesterday and will work on getting the snowblower attached this week. life in NH

Tailgate spreader not yet installed. Just picked this up last night--scared the !@#$ out of me driving home in dark and rain with no ballast in back, front end was tilted down so far that headlights were basically worthless, rear end was really light and loose. Supposed to have at least 700 lbs back there!

It's a F350 Powerstroke (2011)--have to say it's much much quieter than the 07 Ram Cummins diesel we have. I think we're going to like it a lot.

You can move a lot of snow with one of those. I have one but with the snows we have been getting it just sits in the shed.

It's true. I have an older Yamaha 350 Big Bear, and it surprises me how much snow I can push with it. Occasionally I'll have to get the tractor out if there's a taller drift or wet, heavy snow that needs more oomph than the 4-wheeler can give. For the most part it's a lot faster to plow with the 4-wheeler.

Just finished my project of restoring and adapting an older Meyer ST-90 snow plow to my tractor - a Kubota L3540 with FEL.

The newly adapted plow mounts via a quick attach plate and the angle cylinders are powered by my 3rd function valve.

I posted a thread that documented the whole build - since I don't know how to post links, you can search on my user name to find it.

Glad I could finally contribute to this thread!
