Awesome bro! Looks just like mine. Can you do me a favor? See if your 500 has some rubbing/grinding sound in the front axle when engaged in 4wd. Try it at different speeds and see if you detect anything. I have this going on with mine, not sure if its just the nature of the 4wd or not.

I'll be listening to everything while I break it in. If I hear anything like that I'll be asking the dealer and you guys. Remind me if I don't get back to you by the end of the weekend, won't have much time to use it during the week as I have to go find money to pay for it:mad:

Actually, Last night I backed it out of the garage and couldn't shift into H from N. I backed it up some more then it finally went. Any thoughts? It only had 1.1 hrs on it so maybe things need to get broke-in but man it was really resisting.

I think it's the nature of this beast. I blip my fuel pedal sometimes with pressure on the selector or a slight roll and it will slide in. Some times my 2wd to 4wd feels like it's not going to budge and a slight roll makes it slide in so easy that I'm looking to see if it really moved.

JohnThomas,
You could use one sheet metal screw at the top on each side to take the weight, and with the velcro holding everything and keeping it from rattling, use wire ties. Say 3 down each side and across the top/bottom, by just drilling one hole in the windsheild and wraping the tie through it and around the roll cage. Just 2 small holes to drill in the roll cage for the sheet metal screws.

The 500 should shift very easily. Make sure when before you go to shift step right down on the brake, with the hydro tranny it's easy to just let off the throttle and basically stop so you barely even touch the brake.....you need to hit the brakes to keep from having pressure in the driveline. It makes a huge difference.

If that doesn't help I would talk to the dealer, there are adjustment screws to neutralize forward and reverse pressure.

Plexiglas does some significant expansion/contaction with temp changes is why I was staying away from screws. I'd considered rubber grommetts thru drilled holes in plexiglas with rubber washers under the screw head and between the bar and plexiglas but found a roll of velcro here at home so did the velcro. If I can find the 2" wiring harness straps I can wrap the plastic strap around the roll bars top and side to carry the weight. Will require the holes drilled in the plexiglas but will use rubber washers with holes big enough to not be bothered by temp changes. Anyway, that's the plan now. If I can't find the 2'" wiring harness strap clamps I can use some of these plastic zip ties I have but appreciate your input.

I plan to use clamp like this, I used them to mount my led strobes and they work well. I plan to use them to mount my windshield as well...I will just bend them around to a "P" shape around my roll cage and bolt through the hole with the plexiglass in the center...I plan to drill the hole 2X as large as my bolt. With a few wraps of electrical tape around the clamps there's no fear of scratching your paint on the roll cage and removal will be easy as well.

Here's a pic of one of my strobe lights mounted with them

Thanks. If I can't find the wiring strap clamps these should bend to do the same thing.
