I had no choice. I had to buy the tractor the way it came from the seller.
Great news. We tried to buy local but decided to use Barlows - we're glad we did. Good luck with your new toy. Definitely post pictures as soon as it arrives. :thumbsup:Tractor got to the dealer today
Hopefully it will be assembled soon...
Know the feeling well. I came from a L3650.
The thing that is amazing is that the giddy feeling has lasted over a year now.
Climbing on it and putting it to work is a joy every job, every time. I look for jobs to do and sometimes even do them twice for entertainment.
Don't care a bit about the price of diesel. It is cheaper than going to a movie.

You have to admit, it sure is nice that our entertainment gets our work done too.  Now what I need to do is figure out how to make a living doing this.![]()
Set up is perfect besides the tires, I've got Ag's on all 4 and they said they'd probably have the R4's in next week. All in all I'm stoked on the tractor! I just have to get a grapple bucket and a box blade and I'll be set. I've got a Tortella mower for it already, which I'm excited to use.So did it get set up how you wanted it? You know, all the remotes, Top and Tilt hydraulics. So what tires are on front and back, and how long before you get the ones that you ordered?

I have been looking into the M7040 for a few weeks now, it seems like the best tractor for my work. I do a lot of weedabatement, debris and tree removal stuff, and I also do dirt work here and there.
I have a L3600 right now that I will sell and put towards the new one. The problems I have had with the L3600 I'll list, things I want to avoid with the new one.
Overheating due to rapid clogging of the radiator while mowing (constantly blowing it off with a leaf blower, and washing it on a daily basis.)
Damage from debris coming from below to radiator, fan, oil filter, etc. Any kind of Armor availible?
Damage to the body of the engine compartment on sides and top. Armor question again?
Front tires going flat while carrying heavy bucket loads on slopes.
So advice on what to do on the M7040 that might make those problems go away?
This is the set up I'm thinking about, advice on some gizmo/attachment I'm forgetting, anything you got

Any recomendations on a good gannon with rippers for this setup?
Also, I'd like to get the quick attach set up in this video
YouTube - Kubota M7040
instead of the 3 point quick attach set up. I can't find those anywhere, anyone used them, like them? The video is in german, but you can see what I'm talking about.
I know that's a lot, but thanks in advance![]()
