Who got new JD gifts for Christmas?

It's actually a replica of an elusive JD #8 cart! Started out as a Toro, same pan & undercarriage as the JD. #8's were only made a couple of years in green or "patio" white. Mine is the red one, the white is a real #8! ~~ grnspot110

We didn't do much for Christmas this year. But as far as JD stuff... wife made a JD cover for a pillow I use on my easychair. Also got a portable bandsaw and a couple of other small items. But after Christmas sales may bring more.

Bring on the after Christmas sales I say. That's where Santa really shines!

Alas, Santa forgot about JD this year.
But I did get a nifty plasma cutter!
Spent some of today making a storage rack for the post hole auger. Plasma is to oxy-fuel as oxy-fuel is to a manual hacksaw. Wow is all I can say.

Would love to see pictures of your creation! I have been thinking of building something like that for my auger.

My wife did get me an 1-1/4" combo wrench for tightening the duels though.:thumbsup:

....and as a 30 year old diesel ag tractor, it only needs power to operate lights/guages. It shouldn't take me more than about 15-20 minutes in the morning to get it usable again. I can reinstall the alternator later after it's repaired. I have a battery maintainer which is designated for the tractor when it's parked in the shop and that should take care of the battery while the alternator is off the machine.

You got an oppertunity to visit the big green store. A friend needed a new ignition switch years ago and came home with a new tractor, so be carefull in there.

Didn't get any JD stuff for Christmas, but I got myself a new 23 inch LCD HDMI monitor to better view TBN and post my pictures with. Does that count?
