Who got new JD gifts for Christmas?

I know it is a bit late for Christmas presents but today I got a new to me 7 backhoe for my 855. I had been looking for a while on CL and finally found something descent and not too far. It is already on my tractor.

Just need to be washed now. It is full of sand and salt from the roads up here...

One thing I can count on every Christmas is getting something that says John Deere on it. My son got me a JD hat, Wife got me a JD zip up hooded sweatshirt and my Dad got me a JD checkbook cover. We have a couple we go out to eat with all the time and we are going out this weekend to eat and exchange Christmas gifts with so I can almost count on them getting me something that says John Deere on it too. My wife is almost as nuts about JD stuff as I am. We have JD silverware, plates, coffee cups, mixing bowls, glasses, curtains in the kitchen, light switch cover, coasters, salt and pepper shakers and a lamp. Above our cabinets in the kitchen is a lot of my JD toy tractors and combines.

I just told my wife that you are my hero! She said "that person shouldn't have started this".

My poor wife and kids don't know what to get daddy. Between my love of my JD tractor, Moto Guzzi motorcycles, flying, shooting sports, and music they can't decide on what to give me.:confused2: I tell them that tools always are welcome, Snap-On especially.:thumbsup: They don't like to give gift certificates, they prefer to personally pick something. I tell them that all those passions aren't confusing. It just gives them a vast array of options to chose from. I'm a very blessed man.
