Now that's rubbing it in for those of us who, like me, are getting up in years and don't enjoy cold weather and snow.:)

Yup, that's why I'm content to see the snow up on the mountain and shudder when the wind howls down slope at a chillin 58 degrees. I grew up in Maine :)

I mowed again today, you can see me assistant about 100ft in front of me.
Took me a bit to get the camera out.

Beautiful scenery, but you are adding insult to injury for those of us who don't like cold weather.:)

I couldn't tell from the photo -- who/what is your assistant?

I fired up the old Ford 8n yesterday to bring a half face cord of red oak up to the porch from the woodshed. That will keep us nice and toasty in the house for about a week up here on the Canadian border. She started right up in spite of 6 volt electric, 10 deg F temperature and not haveing been started in a week. Luckily the lakes must be nearly froze over now and it has been a couple weeks since we have had any serious snow so my plow tractor has had a long rest.

Decided that 8' satellite dish would make a good sled and took the girls for a ride.

Finally someone found a good use for those old 3 meter dishes! Good going!

Didn't need the tractor but used to RTV900 to put hay out for the horses. The RTV is just perfect for the job.

I did. Just to add some balance to the thread, I mowed the front, about 3 acres I guess.

You got me beat. I SHOULD have used the brush hog to mow, but I got lazy and only mowed one acre, so I used the Husqvarna riding mower to knock that out. Maybe that's the last time I'll have to mow until mid-to-late February! I did use the 'Bota to unload a 16 disc harrow that's been out in the pasture for about 10 years or so.

Today however, I'm going to try out the old disc that's been sitting up for about 10 years.

ps - You guys up north definitely have my sympathy though. This has been an unusally warm year for us down south, and unbearable for you guys up north.

Boy that scene from the Mainer in HI sure looks nice... that water even looks warm enough to swim in! (Remember our ocean, sodamo??)

Didn't use the tractor on the 25th, but it looks like I'll be on it soon enough!

What's a manure trailer?

I thought the object was to not have to drive tractor on Christmas.

The trailer is a Downeaster dump trailer. Stalls are picked daily and put into the trailer to be dumped when it's full at the pit.

When you have animals, you don't get to choose when the tractor gets used.

Mine is all nestled, snug in it's shed,
while visions of summertime danced in her head.

Try as I might, I just can't seem to get the critters house broken. Or would that be barn broken?
