Error warning on 3040 CVT need HELP!

I just got my 3040 but they gave me the wrong owners manual, so I can't check to see what this error means. Actually, it shows a gear symbol and then seems like an RPM number, like 2250 or such. After this, it wont go into forward, but seems like reverse is working. Im venturing pretty far from home tomorrow in 14-15" of snow and don't feel like dealing with this if I don't have to.

Anyone know what this is? As mentioned before i have no owners manual to reference, cause they gave me the HST on instead of CVT!

I don't know what it is, but I've had mine give the warning symbol once, it would go in reverse but not forward. I just shut it off and restarted it, then everything worked. I think I went from reverse to forward to fast. I have also had it come on and the PTO wouldn't turn on, I did the same thing, shut it off and restart, seems to reset it and all is well again. The service man where i purchased it said if I do something the computer doesn't like this would happen, just restart the tractor.

Thanks GB. I have been doing the turn it off and on and it does work. I would like to get past that though. I will try and call dealer tomorrow and see what they say? That is if they are open after all the snow we are a gettin.

The number is a fault code. If you can't reach your dealer,please post the exact code number you're getting,I might be able to help.

Thanks wrenchguy. I just got done plowing. It seems to happen for no reason? I think it was either 2535 or 2235? Def had 35 at the end and started with a 2. So 2?35. Sometimes happened every 25 minutes, sometimes it wouldn't do it for an hour or so. Shut it down for a second or to and it reset w no problems. Never talked to dealer cause of the plowing. However, now that i have used the CVT, i really like it now.

I checked my manual and the only fault code listed that ends in 35 is a 2035 - Dump valve 12 volt circuit. You can have the dealer upgrade the firmware and clean the grounds. Sometimes the ground wires aren't well grounded from factory.

If the code you're seeing is 2359,i believe that's correct,you will sometimes experience this code if you move the "f&r" lever from the neutral position before the ADIC has fully "booted".

Really wish I had my code cheat sheet handy.

Does your computer have the latest software update? When I got my 8N there were a few things that did not work correctly. The New Holland Rep came over, attached his notebook PC and updated the software.

They also had to get me the latest and greatest manual.

I too have had the yellow exclamation show up but I don't know why.

Rebooting - (turn the tractor off, wait, then restart) has made it go away.

In my book (2010 8N) 2352 is Forward Clutch Valve 12 Volt Circuit Error, 2353 is Reverse Clutch Valve 12 Volt Circut Error.
